At New Ebenezer Retreat, we offer overnight accommodations and a selection of meeting/gathering rooms. Check-in time is 3:00p.m. Check-out time is 1:00 p.m.

Our meals & dining policy: Guests of 30 or less may prepare their own meals. Groups that exceed 30 guests are required to make reservations with our inclusive meal plan.

Alcohol and/or Pets* are not allowed. (*In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, registered Service Animals are permitted on our premises. Please inquire in advance for detailed information, and possible reservation-date restrictions.)

You may choose to stay in our Family Life Center Rooms, one of our Dorm Cottages, or a Private Cottage. Details are below.

Our guests can enjoy wholesome, hearty meals that we prepare on the premises at great prices. From group functions to banquets, to individual meals (or if you select to include our 3-meals-a-day option when booking your reservations), your appetite will definitely be satisfied by our hospitality services.

  • Healthy snacks are available upon request, for an additional fee.
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available for groups of 20 or more.
  • Breakfast is serverd at 8 AM, lunch at 12 pm, and dinner at 5.30pm (6 pm on Fridays).
  • Our facilities have a seating capacity of up to 250 guests.
  • Meal pricing for groups of 20 persons or under are available upon request.
  • Special Banquet Menus are also available, upon request.

Family Life Center Rooms

The camaraderie-styled ambiance in each of our Family Life Center's dorm-style rooms accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 bunk beds. Each are complete with a bath that has four separate showers. 3 meals per day are included, and blankets are provided free of charge. Linen rental (sheets and towels) is available.

Dorm Cottages

Our inviting dorm cottages are complete with a porch, a kitchen, a great room with dining and living areas, and two bedrooms - each that sleep 8 in bunk beds. The Trustees, Gnann-Kessler, and Jerusalem cottages also have a fireplace. The Helmly cottage has a loft. Small groups may choose to prepare their own meals, or reserve the cottages with our hearty meal plan included. Blankets are provided free of charge, and rental linen is available.

Dorm cottages are very popular with our group guests, as you can gather on the porch, experience times of heartfelt reflection while enjoying the fireplace, and they allow everyone in your group to spend time together day and night.

Private Cottages

Each of our 2-story cottages has an inviting living room, a kitchen, and six private bedrooms - each with two twin beds and its own private bath. Pillows, blankets and linens are provided when you stay in one our private cottages. Small groups may choose to prepare their own meals during your stay, or reserve a private cottage with our hearty meal plan included.

Our Private cottages afford the opportunity for friends, families and group guests to stay together under the same roof, yet have their own bedrooms and bath. An enclave for reflection and rest, a private cottage may be "your personal haven", set amidst our tranquil retreat!

Meeting Rooms

The Mildred D. Kessler Learning Center's main room is spacious (66ft X 35ft), and will seat approximately 200 guests with tables and chairs, or 300 with just chairs alone. It is equipped with multimedia projector, a 10 ft electronic projector screen, a professionally installed sound system, and rectangular or round tables.

The Mildred D. Kessler Learning Center's two break out rooms (each is 30ft X 30ft) provide a more intimate or smaller-group-focused venue, and comfortably accommodate 50-60 people. They are equipped with 6 ft electronic projector screens and a portable multimedia projector is also available.

The Family Life Center Great Hall (48ft x 58ft) is equipped with a sound system and 10 ft electronic projector screen, and can be set up for your group with a portable projector if needed.

Day Room (27ft x 47ft) is located in the center of the campus. Perfect for family reunions and other large groups.

Family Life Center meeting rooms - 2 of our meeting rooms (with tables and chairs) are located upstairs in the Family Life Center. Each of those rooms seats 20-30 people. We have one additional meeting room downstairs in the Family Life Center that will seat 30-40 people.

Our meeting rooms are a great venue for holding educational events, reunions, and other group gatherings.

  • Meeting rooms are assigned based upon group size.
  • Prices range from $100 to $600.
  • Our facilities have a seating capacity of up to 250 guests.
  • Wedding - special policies* & pricing apply. (*alcohol is not permitted).

If not otherwise in use, the grill and the Bell Tower may be used by groups that are in residence at no additional charge.

Other amenities at New Ebenezer Retreat:

At New Ebenezer Retreat Center we provide many other amenities for our guests where individuals, families and group members can gather together to play, exercise and bond. Our in-ground swimming pool (open on a seasonal basis), tennis court, basketball court, grill area, firepit, and a tranquil gazebo near the banks of the Savannah river afford our guests different venues for activities and to be together during the day - or even to share times of reflection as the sun rises or sets. In the Spring and Summer, our property is lush with lovely blooming flowers and manicured landscaping. In Autumn and Winter you can delight in nature's beauty amidst the area's vibrant foliage colors, and the refreshing breezes that whisper though the pines.
